To help us resolve your issue faster, please include your device model, operating system version (iOS or Android), the app version, and a short description of the problem.

1. Getting started

  • Create an account using your email and a password, or sign in with Google or Apple. A one-time code may be sent to verify your email.
  • Add a child profile with a name and date of birth so the app can show age-appropriate vaccine schedules, milestones, and safety content. You can add more than one child.
  • Allow notifications when prompted so you don’t miss vaccine and milestone reminders or safety alerts.

2. Using the app's features

  • Health — track vaccinations against the recommended immunization schedule and follow developmental milestones across physical, emotional, communication, and problem-solving categories.
  • Learn — take short quizzes on infant safety and safe-sleep practices, and watch educational videos.
  • Resources — find local healthcare providers, car-seat inspection stations, and community services near you.
  • Alerts — receive product recall notices, weather alerts for your area, and the Back Seat Alert reminder.
  • Profile — update your account details, manage children, and change settings.

3. Back Seat Alert & permissions

The Back Seat Alert reminds you to check the back seat after a drive ends, to help prevent a child from being left in a vehicle. To work automatically it needs:

  • Location access “Always” (including in the background) so the app can detect when a drive ends even when it is closed. Location is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
  • Motion & activity access to detect when you are driving versus stationary.
  • Notifications so the reminder can reach you.

You can turn the feature on or off inside the app at any time, and you can change these permissions in your device’s system settings. If you revoke background location, the alert will no longer fire automatically, but the rest of the app keeps working. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

4. Notifications

  • The app sends reminders for vaccines and milestones, plus safety alerts such as recalls and the Back Seat Alert.
  • If you aren’t receiving notifications, make sure they are enabled for the app in your device settings and that you are signed in.
  • iOS: Settings → Notifications → W.I.N.S. → Allow Notifications.
  • Android: Settings → Apps → W.I.N.S. → Notifications.

5. Account & data

  • Reset your password from the sign-in screen using “Forgot password.”
  • Edit your profile and children at any time from the Profile tab.
  • Delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account inside the app, or use our dedicated account deletion request page. You can also email adph.support@previseit.com. We remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
  • Learn what we collect and why in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

6. Troubleshooting

  • App won’t load or shows old content — close and reopen the app, then check for an update in the App Store or Google Play.
  • Can’t sign in — confirm your email and password, try resetting your password, and make sure your device has an internet connection.
  • Not receiving alerts — verify that notifications and (for the Back Seat Alert) location and motion permissions are enabled in system settings.
  • Location resources look wrong — allow location access so the app can show services near you, or set your county in your profile.
  • Still stuck? Email us at adph.support@previseit.com and include your device model and app version.
